I see it only when I bow down
On my knees, head bowed down
Clearly, I see.
My night becoming day.
Beyond the shadows I see
Through the curtains I see
On my knees, the veil is uncovered
The barriers are lifted up
The waters are parted
The Egyptian is killed
On my knees I see
Why I am fed grass?
Why I have to climb a tree to see?
Why I am to tiptoe through the night to ask you a question?
Why I have to keep the secret to my never to be cut hair locks?
Why the bush burns with no evidence of a match stick that lit it?
Why I am to endure each stone as it hits my fragile bones?
Why prison doors and chains fall?
Why the walls of Jerico crumble?
Why Does the giant fall at one hit of my soft stone?
Why do the twelve plagues harden the heart of Pharoah?
Why do their non-blood stained homes lose their first fruits?
Why does the burning furnace fail to consume my flesh?
Why my word is a sharp sword into the Pharisee's black heart?
Only when I bow, do I see it clearly
No blurs
No covering
No obstruction
It is laid bare at my bowing eyes
