Tapestry of Self

I am interestingly rare,
A thread woven in a tapestry
No other identical or likened to me.
My fingerprint, a singular design,
Crafted in time, a story unfolding
It only became
When I became;
Each thread a tale,
A pattern that is uniquely mine.

Like a garden full of blooms,
Some find it beautiful,
Others see it as wild;
Each petal, a piece of my weave
I am me,
Rich with diversity,
Every layer a story,
A vibrant stitch in the fabric of life.

Only the creator knows the full pattern;
Woe to those who claim to know me
How destructive this thread can be!
Even I sometimes lose the design,
Phantoms of self dance in the loom,

Discoveries I endure,
Both painful and pleasing;
Every day the hidden is uncovered,
Yet still,
The fullness of me
Remains yet to be met;
I am still learning,
A tapestry unspooled,
Endlessly intricate
Let me introduce you
To this tapestry of self;
I am yet to know.
